
Reports To: Planner/Buyer/AD of assigned account(s)
Role: Aids ad agency Account Director (AD) and team with all aspects of the client account and campaign management. Take heavy administrative burden off more senior account team members allowing them to focus on supervising client advertising media campaigns. Supports all levels of the account team, clients, and vendors. They are well organized, flexible, possess strong project coordination abilities, have great attention to details, and are eager to learn and grow.
- Play a key role in supporting both the agency team as well as clients for tactical delivery/or project status, day-to-day management of accounts
- Actively contributing to brainstorming and idea generation sessions with cross-functional teams
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvements
- Assist Planners & Buyers with media responsibilities
- Participate in creative process, ensuring materials are created to spec and delivered correctly, timely
- Ensure that marketing and support activities are executed in a flawless, timely and efficient manner
- Communicate with media sales representative as instructed by team
- Assist and/or prepares documents relating to client contact and direction
- Build and maintain presentations, campaign/budget reports, flowchart for client initiatives
- Help with budget tracking, Insertion Orders, campaign building and management
- Compile information and build reports for assigned clients
- Generate POVs (Point of Views) for client opportunities
- Work with team to contribute to the team’s ability to exceed revenue goals
- Provide clerical assistance – data entry, formatting of plans/reports and copying/binding
- Conduct research of information and support materials for client projects as directed by Account Director
- Assists with job tracking, invoices, and miscellaneous vendor/partner/client requests
- Keep current on marketing trends and developments
- Attend meetings (internal, client facing), captures notes, and publishes meeting reports
- Apply learnings to new tasks independently
- Learns various resources, including SRDS, SQAD, STRATA, GA
- Review and process media vendor invoices for clearing and payment approval
- Address, assist with Accounting questions
- Ensure Accounting has necessary documents (flow charts) to accurately and timely bill clients
- Plus, any other request that benefits the client, team or agency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience, preferably in an agency setting
- Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines while remaining organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused
- Understand the big picture while also getting into the details
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and make sense of multiple tasks with various stakeholders
- Extremely comfortable with math, formulas and data
- Experience in Microsoft Office, G Suite, Slack, Zoom, social media, ad serving systems
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, video conference) and proofreading skills
- A strategic mindset, with a desire to learn and grow
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail
- Love and understanding of advertising (consumer behavior, business, media, creative, analytics, etc.)
